Don’t purchase the first bridal set you like. Take your time in choosing the right ring, for it is something that you will be wearing a lifetime.  As a certified jeweler we get to see and repair a lot of bridal rings and we could tell you which design is more likely to wear better with less stone and prong loss over a long period of time. Generally most prongs that hold your diamonds will wear down over a period of time and if the prong is not re-tip you will eventually loose your diamonds.  To keep this from happening you will have the ring checked by a certified jeweler and sometimes have it re-tip as needed.
